Make this easy, no-cook ham salad using leftover ham. It is creamy, tangy, and full of crunch from celery and relish, making it the best sandwich filling or savory spread for quick lunches and potlucks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked ham, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the finely chopped ham in a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Add the mayonnaise, chopped celery, sweet pickle relish, yellow mustard, Dijon mustard, and black pepper to the bowl.
  3. Mix all ingredients together until they are fully combined and the mixture is creamy.
  4. Taste the salad and adjust seasonings, such as pepper or relish, if needed.
  5. Cover the ham salad and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to blend.
  6. Serve cold on bread for sandwiches, with crackers, or as a simple appetizer spread.

Notes

  • For a tangier flavor, substitute sweet pickle relish with dill pickle relish.
  • If you prefer a smoother texture, pulse the ham mixture briefly in a food processor instead of chopping by hand.
  • This recipe works well with leftover holiday ham or deli ham.
