Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup pitted green olives, drained and roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup pitted black olives, drained and roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese into a medium bowl.
  2. Add the chopped green olives, black olives, mayonnaise, lemon juice, minced garlic, and black pepper to the bowl.
  3. Use a hand mixer or a sturdy spoon to combine all ingredients until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Mix until no large chunks of cream cheese remain.
  4. Taste the dip and adjust seasoning if needed.
  5. Transfer the olive dip to a serving bowl.
  6. Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

  • For a stronger olive flavor, use only one type of olive, such as all green olives or all black olives.
  • If you do not have fresh lemon juice, you can substitute with 1 teaspoon of white wine vinegar.
  • This dip is best served cold, making it a great no bake dip recipe for entertaining.
