Make juicy, flavorful Garlic Butter Chicken Bites on the stovetop in under 20 minutes. This easy, one-pan recipe is perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken into uniform 1-inch pieces. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels to help it brown better.
  2. Season the chicken pieces evenly with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the seasoned chicken to the hot skillet in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding. Cook for 4-6 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium-low. Add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet.
  6. Stir constantly for about 1 minute until the butter is melted and the garlic is fragrant. Do not let the garlic burn.
  7. Toss the chicken bites gently in the garlic butter sauce until fully coated.
  8. Remove the skillet from the heat. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving immediately.

Notes

  • For extra crispy edges, cook the chicken in two batches instead of overcrowding the pan.
  • Serve these chicken bites over rice, pasta, or alongside roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
  • If you prefer a tangier flavor, add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice to the butter sauce at the end.
