Ingredients
Scale
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 cup dill pickles, finely chopped
1/4 cup dill pickle juice
1 tablespoon dried dill weed
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional garnish: extra chopped pickles or fresh dill
Instructions
Place the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise into a medium mixing bowl.
Use an electric mixer or a sturdy spoon to beat the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.
Stir in the finely chopped dill pickles, pickle juice, dried dill weed, onion powder, and garlic powder. Mix until everything is evenly distributed.
Taste the dip and add salt and pepper as needed. Remember the pickles add saltiness.
Cover the bowl and chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. This step allows the flavors to meld together.
Before serving, garnish the top with extra chopped pickles or fresh dill, if desired. Serve this easy appetizer dip with crackers, chips, or vegetables.
Notes
For a richer flavor, substitute half of the mayonnaise with plain Greek yogurt.
If you want a ranch pickle dip flavor, add one packet of dry ranch seasoning mix.
This dip tastes best after chilling for one hour, but it is ready to eat after 30 minutes.
