Ingredients
Scale
4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
1 lemon, sliced for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
Pat the salmon fillets dry using paper towels. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Drizzle the salmon lightly with olive oil. Season evenly with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, onion powder, and cayenne pepper (if using) to create the glaze.
Brush half of the glaze mixture evenly over the tops of the salmon fillets.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Remove the salmon from the oven and brush the remaining glaze over the fillets.
Return the salmon to the oven and bake for another 5 to 8 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
Garnish with fresh lemon slices before serving immediately.
Notes
For crispier edges, place the salmon under the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning the glaze.
