- 1 (5 ounce) can tuna, drained and flaked
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- In a medium bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, beaten egg, bread crumbs, chopped onion, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Shape the mixture into 4 equal patties.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Carefully place the tuna patties in the hot skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and heated through.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Serve with your favorite tartar sauce or a squeeze of lemon.
- These patties can also be baked at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- For crispier patties, use panko bread crumbs.
