Bake boneless chicken in a creamy garlic parmesan sauce for a flavorful, simple family dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Pour the cream mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
  5. If using, sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top of the sauce.
  6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit and the sauce is bubbly.
  7. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a low carb chicken bake, skip the breadcrumbs.
  • You can use chicken thighs instead of breasts; adjust cooking time as needed.
  • This recipe works well for making leftovers for lunch the next day.
