Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, honey, minced garlic, thyme, and black pepper.
  2. Place pork chops in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish.
  3. Pour the marinade over the pork chops, ensuring they are fully coated.
  4. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours. For deeper flavor, you can marinate overnight.
  5. Remove pork chops from marinade, discarding the excess liquid.
  6. Cook pork chops using your preferred method (grilling, baking, or pan-searing).

Notes

  • For a low-sodium option, use low-sodium soy sauce.
  • Adjust honey amount to your sweetness preference.
  • This marinade works well for other cuts of pork as well.
