Bake boneless chicken breasts in a simple, creamy mayonnaise and Parmesan topping for a juicy, tender, and family-friendly weeknight dinner.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth. This creates your creamy topping.
  4. Spread the mayonnaise mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast. Press it down gently.
  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  6. If using, sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the topping during the last 5 minutes of baking.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

  • For extra flavor, you can add a dash of dried Italian seasoning to the topping mixture.
