Ingredients
Scale
1 (8 ounce) package refrigerated crescent roll dough
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface. Do not separate the triangles. Gently press the perforations together to form one large sheet.
Cut the dough sheet lengthwise into 12 even strips.
Place one cocktail sausage near the wide end of a dough strip. Roll the dough tightly around the sausage until the entire sausage is covered. Pinch the seam to seal the dough.
Place the wrapped sausage seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with the remaining sausages and dough.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley.
Brush the tops of the wrapped sausages evenly with the garlic butter mixture.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and puffed.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
For a slightly sweet and savory glaze, substitute the garlic butter topping with 3 tablespoons of melted butter mixed with 1 tablespoon of brown sugar.
If you want a crispier exterior, you can brush the dough lightly with an egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 teaspoon of water) before adding the garlic butter.
Serve these crowd pleasing appetizers with honey mustard or a spicy ketchup for the best flavor combination.
