Make easy, bite-sized pizza chips using tortilla chips, tomato sauce, and mozzarella for a fast party snack or movie night treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz tortilla chips
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). If using an air fryer, set it to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Arrange the tortilla chips in a single layer on a baking sheet or in the air fryer basket.
  3. Spoon a small amount of pizza sauce onto the center of each chip.
  4. Top the sauce with a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.
  5. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning and garlic powder evenly over the cheese.
  6. Bake for 5 to 8 minutes, or until the cheese melts and bubbles. If using an air fryer, cook for 3 to 5 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
  7. Remove from the oven or air fryer and serve immediately for the best texture.

Notes

  • For a low carb pizza chips option, substitute the tortilla chips with baked cheese crisps or large slices of pepperoni.
  • You can add finely chopped pepperoni or cooked sausage as an extra topping before baking.
  • If you prefer a crispier chip, use fewer toppings.
