Make this smooth, cold, and refreshing frozen strawberry daiquiri using simple ingredients. It is perfect for summer parties or cooling off on a hot day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 4 oz white rum
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Place the frozen strawberries, fresh strawberries, white rum, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice cubes into a high-powered blender.
  2. Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and has a slushy consistency. Stop and scrape down the sides if necessary.
  3. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness or tartness if needed by adding a little more simple syrup or lime juice.
  4. Pour the frozen strawberry daiquiri into chilled glasses.
  5. Serve immediately for the best texture.

Notes

  • For a Virgin Strawberry Daiquiri (non-alcoholic version), omit the white rum and add 1 to 2 oz of water or extra lime juice for blending consistency.
  • To make a batch for a party, combine all ingredients except ice in a large container. Chill thoroughly. When ready to serve, blend in batches with ice.
  • Use fresh, ripe strawberries for the best natural flavor in this sweet and tart cocktail.
