Make rich, smooth chocolate fudge using only three simple ingredients. This no-bake recipe delivers a creamy, melt-in-your-mouth texture without needing a candy thermometer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal. Lightly grease the paper.
  2. In a medium, heavy-bottomed saucepan over low heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips.
  3. Stir constantly until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth. Do not let the mixture boil or overheat.
  4. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract until combined.
  5. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the fudge is firm enough to cut.
  7. Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into small squares.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use semi-sweet or dark chocolate bars instead of chips.
  • If you want a thicker fudge, use a 9×5 inch loaf pan instead of an 8×8 inch pan.
  • You can add 1/2 cup of chopped nuts or mini marshmallows after stirring in the vanilla for variation.
